About Us

So you want to know who is behind all the great software you found here? And where did we get a name like KidMoses anyway? Well, let's start with the name. KidMoses was a name I came up with about 10 years ago when my son was looking for a name for his band. He didn't like the name very much, but I thought it was cool and decided to keep it for myself. I've been using it for a web nickname ever since.

As for software, I've been creating applications for about 20 years now, going way back to the days of basic programming. Since then, I've dabbled in Basic, Visual Basic, C, C++, and Delphi. I started with Delphi 1 when it was first introduced, and created a neat little component called "ReportWorks", which was amazingly popular. However, the demands of the corporate world left little time for commercial applications and most of the last ten years have been spent creating corporate solutions.

A couple of years back, I decided I needed to create a solution to deal with all the spam email I was getting on a daily basis. There were a lot of applications available already and I tried quite a few. None seemed to do everything I wanted without a lot of work and constant tweaking. So I decided to write something myself and came up with Junkanoo. I've made the application available as freeware for everyone to enjoy. Thousands of people around the world have suggested software ideas and spotted things that could be improved. Building on many of these great ideas, I designed and built Espresso, a full-featured email client designed to eliminate all spam from your Inbox.

While building these applications, I designed some custom components, which I have decided to share with my fellow developers. If I can make the world a little bit better or make your life easier by creating software, I'm very happy. And that's what it's all about.
