One of my favourite places to visit in Ontario, Canada, is Point Pelee National Park. No matter the season, there is always something interesting to explore. Whether you enjoy hiking, cycling, swimming, canoeing, birdwatching, camping, or just leisurely exploring nature, the park does not disappoint. If that is not enough, it is also the southern-most point in mainland Canada.

Best Ever Beef Stew

Experience Kilkenny Castle

Driving through Kilkenny on our way to the airport, we had to stop and visit the wonderful Kilkenny Castle. Kilkenny is only an hour away from Dublin and we had lots of time to kill. Now there are many amazing castles in Ireland. What makes this one different is that it has been restored and fairly accurately remodeled back to the Victorian country house it once was.

Visitors from around the world have been kissing Ireland's Blarney Stone for well over 200 years. Legend claims the ritual will bestow the kisser with the gift of eloquence and persuasiveness, or "the gift of gab". Easy. Just bend over backwards and hang upside down. Afterwards, explore the castles hidden passages and mystical gardens like Badger's Cave, Witch's Cave and the Poison Garden.
