Kitchener-Waterloo Music

The Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival began in 1992 with a few musicians playing in front of stores along King Street. The festival continues to offer world-class live jazz in a peaceful, smaller town environment. Performances are completely free, accessible and open to all individuals. This year's festival runs from July 9 - 11, 2004.

Hillside Festival 2004

Twentieth Annual Hillside Festival
Hillside is in the general category of music festivals. Over the space of 1 weekend each summer, 60+ musical performers are showcased in one-hour sets on 4 different stages at our venue. In 1998, Acoustic Guitar magazine listed it as "one of the world's 25 best music festivals".

Hillside's performers are diverse. We have a few well-known, generally Canadian mainstream performers. But you'll also find the undiscovered gems of the local, Canadian and International scenes.

July 23-25, 2004 on Guelph Lake Island.
