Point Pelee National Park

Posted June 14, 2020 by Kidmoses

One of my favourite places to visit in Ontario, Canada, is Point Pelee National Park. No matter the season, there is always something interesting to explore. Whether you enjoy hiking, cycling, swimming, canoeing, birdwatching, camping, or just leisurely exploring nature, the park does not disappoint. If that is not enough, it is also the southern-most point in mainland Canada.

Touring Ireland's Copper Coast

Posted February 4, 2020 by Kidmoses

The Copper Coast between Tramore and Dungarvan in County Waterford is one of the more spectacular driving and cycle routes in Ireland. Though not as well known as the Wild Atlantic Way, this rugged stretch of coastline boasts plenty of beautiful beaches, rugged clifftops, secluded coves and charming villages in a largely overlooked part of the country.

During the summer months, the large, sandy beach known as Main Beach attracts droves of vacationers, students and young families to the area.

This huge limestone arch with a hole in it was created towards the end of the last ice age. And some of the exposed rock along this coast dates from the Upper Jurassic era of 150 million years ago... Durdle Door is the most noteworthy landscape feature along the coastal stretch known as Jurassic Coast.

Posted September 25, 2019 by Kidmoses

Having never been to England before and not wanting to drive in London, I decided to rent a car in Crawley, drive to the south coast and follow it west to the Dorchester area. Sounded like a better plan. We caught the train early enough in London and arrived in Crawley about 9:30 AM. In the rain. We grabbed a taxi to the car rental location. The car wasn’t ready when we arrived...

Bayfield – Blues, Boats And Beautiful

Posted June 23, 2019 by Kidmoses

Bayfield is a small historic village on the shore of Lake Huron. It combines the old fashioned charm of a quaint country town with modern day amenities. For decades, Bayfield has been a favourite destination for both travellers and holidayers. With fine sandy beaches, excellent shopping, dining and accommodations, there is much to enjoy. With four seasons of outdoor sports there is lots to do as well...
